The Domino Project

  Seth Godin has really come out with some good work in The Domino Project.  I was able to read the first book on the Kindle and then get a new book to read when it was available.  I am a Bzz Agent and Bzz Agent allowed me to join The Domino Project campaign, so I got the books dowloaded to the Kindle for free.  I really like that $20 from the sale of every copy in any format goes to Malaria No More, an international advocacy organization working to end malaria deaths in 2015.  You can read more at http://www.thedominoproject.com/.  Thanks Bzz Agent!

Enchantment to Work Harder

Did you ever try to get more out of your employees, but felt like they had just given up on the comapny and the care of the tasks at hand?  If you have people working under you, then you will most likely respond, YES.  Okay, so there are ways of dealing with the potential ill fate that lies within withdrawn associates.  You have to find a way to get them to work for you and a give them a reason to care about their work and the business.  There are tones to use with them, examples to give to them, and ideas to get from them.  Guy Kawasaki's book ENCHENTMENT is a great way to motivate your employees and get them back on the right track... the one that leads to success of the themselves and the company as a whole.  If you are looking for the tools to fix the broken employees, then read his book and you will know exactly what to do.  I had the opportunity to read the book thanks to Bzz Agent!

Find some style at StyleFind

Bil Jac Dog Food

My Senior dog has a very sensitive stomach and is prone to hip problems.  He does love chicken and a great taste of it in his food.  I was given the opportunity to try Bil Jac dog food, which I purchased from Pet Smart.  There were many varieties available, but my furry friend was in store for some Senior chow.  I liked the idae that there was real chicken in the food and that I did not have to gradually mix his old food with the Bil Jac.  I gave him a bowl of it and he gobbled it up like there was no tomorrow.  I had previously little knowledge of the brand, but can now say that the product is a favorite for my dog and if you are looking to change foods, then give Bil Jac a try.  Bzz Agent hooked my furry friend up with a bag!  Thanks Bzz Agent!

OXO so easy

OXO Candela Lights are a great item to have if you want to be prepared for whatever.  You put the candles on the charging stand then let them charge for a while.  When you are ready to use them, they glow a nice soothing tone and can be turned off and conserved by the push of a button.  I really like the idea of a rechargeable light because you do not need to purchase batteries and do not smell a burning candle, either.  I think that these candles would make a terrific gift and they come in many varieties.  The style that is available for a child's room is a great way to add some ambiance to their room and let them fall asleep to a relaxing and mellow light.  I am so glad that I got the OXO Candela Lights and will keep up with the brand's future products.  I had tried these Candles out thanks to Bzz Agent.  I was glad that I was able to participate in the campaign!

Brewed Hot, Not Cold...

Temperature chanfes outside do not change how I like my coffee inside... of me, that is.  I find the flavor and experience more enjoyable when I the coffee is brewed hot.  I can savor the aroma of the coffee, then add the Coffee-Mate French Vanilla Creamer that I like so much.  I never have been a fan of the cold and if ice cream didn't have to be frozen, then I would eat that warm, too.  I see the hot coffee I yearn for a relaxing and soothing way to savor each moment and when the caffeine kicks in, then here we go.

You better believe that before I started my new position, I read Guy Kawasaki's "Enchantment".  The whole idea that Guy intends on getting across is motivating your associates to deliver their maximum potential at work.  I stand behind him 100%.  I know for a fact that there are people that actually want to do more at work and want to handle more responsibility, as well.  It is the manager that has to let the associates know that it is optimal to strive for higher results.  It is a great way to get to know your associates and to explain how they can help deliver additional results to the company.  Everyone wants to feel appreciated and we, as managers, really need to let the associates that work for us know how valuable they really are to the organization.  Thank Bzz Agent for giving me the opportunity to read Enchantment!

Water Bobble

Move over Brits because the Water Bobble is on the move, literally.  I take the Water Bobblr everywhere with me.  It is cool because you put tap water right into the Water Bobble and it filters the water right into the bottle, or Bobble.  It tastes crisp, clean, and refreshing, and it looks really cool.  You can use it over 200 times... now isn't that a great reason to switch from Brita?!

OXO Candela

I was thinking the other day that the OXO Candela rechargeable lights would have been a great thing to have when the power went out.  The house was pitch black and I had some candles, but no means to light them.  I think that the rechargeble lights would have made the situation that much easier to deal with.  The whole concept is great.  The word rechargeable is a great thing.  You can continue using something over and over.  Mother Earth likes those kinds of products.  I can't wait to get my OXO Candela rechargeable lights from Bzz Agent.  I have hyped up the product, so now I just have to get it to show everyone how it works.

I love the fact that these products are rechargeable.  There is no wax to drip all over the table or furniture and you don't have to worry about you children burning themselves.  The OXO Candelas are a great way to add some light, color, and ambiance to any room or even outdoors.  The Candela Tooli is especially cute, spiffy, or even groovy enough for a child's room or just a room that is exceptionally artistic.  I would recommend these rechargeable lights to others.  I learned about them thanks to Bzz Agent!  Check them out for yourself!

Trend Micro Can Help Keep...

There was a movie created by Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, titled "Strangeland."  To make a long story short, Dee played a character who was referred to as "Captain Howdy."  Captain Howdy would lure unsuspecting young adult prey into his domicile via chatting over the internet.  After that he would... nah... I wouldn't spoil it for you.
  Trend Micro has some videos on their website, which people made themselves, then posted.  Some of the videos are really good.  One of the videos I watched was regarding chatting on the Internet and thus, I thought of the movie Strangeland.  It's a scary place out there in cyber space... One that we know not even the basics of at times.  Trend Micro is a good site to look at if you have any concerns about Internet safety.  I think most of us do, but are just too proud to say so.  It's okay... but better SAFE, than SORRY.

StyleFind Unique Jewelry

I was looking for a piece of jewelry that was out of the ordinary.  I wanted to get something that not everyone was wearing and something that would fit my style.  I went to StyleFind and found a few pieces that really stood apart from the rest.  The first was a Ram's Mane necklace.  It had chains coming off the head of the ram, like hair.  Then, I found a snake knot ring, which was a little too creepy for my liking.  The item that I truly admired, though, was the Skull Cocktail Ring.  This ring is interesting because the eyes, teeth, and top of the head have stones and there is a bee on the top of the head with stones, as well.  You can get it in either silver or gold tone and the different stones are available, as well.  If you are looking for some jewelry out of the norm, then you have to look at the different items in the jewelry section of StyleFind.

StorkBrokers-No Need To Bid!

What really caught my interest with StorkBrokers was that you could just buy things that you want and you don't have to sit by the computer hitting the refresh button to see if you were outbid.  Everything is broken down by category so you can drill down to what you are look for in a snap.  If you are looking for Bedding and Decor, then all you have to do is click on that tab and then you can look at the sub-categories.  For someone who has a pretty good idea what they are looking for, StorkBrokers is a good place to look for baby items.  I think that this site is ten times more simple than ebay, which is good for someone starting out in the e-commerce area.

When you have a project that is due in a short period of time and just don't know where to start, you have to check out Apptivo.  This is the best way to get the helping hand that you've been looking for.  It is easy to sign up and easy to use.  The different topics are endless.  No matter what you are seeking help or advice in, I would be very suprised if you didn't find what you needed.  I think the best part is finding an easier way to get something done.  Apptivo helps you find the shortcuts that deliver the same end result, but cut down on the time.  Thus, you can spend the saved time on other additions you may have lacked otherwise.

Lip Perfection

Covergirl has this spiffy new product called Lip Perfection.  The colors are endless and the results are flawless.  I think that if you are going to wear maekup all day, then it should look and feel good.  Covergirl delivered both results with the Lip Perfection line.  Thanks Covergirl! (I am partial to the brownish colors)
